Women in Technology and Science (WITS)
- The WITS community was established to close the workforce gender gap, and promote and support the participation, retention and advancement of women in STEM fields in Utah.
- The community of 300+ individuals meets for quarterly events that include speakers,
HeathTech Hub Community
- The HTH community aims to bridge the realms of science and technology to catalyze precision medicine innovation and disrupt the healthcare system.
- They envision a world where healthcare is seamlessly integrated, and precision medicine is precisely simple.
- The community hosts monthly speaker series, as well as networking and mentoring opportunities.
Student Chapters
- The BioHive student chapters provide a community for life science, health, and biotech and engineering students at Utah universities that promotes networking, professional
development, and employment opportunities. - There are 600+ BioHive Student members at 5 state universities including:
- University of Utah
- Brigham Young University
- Utah Valley University
- Utah State University
- Utah Tech
BioHive Cares
- BioHive was created to unite and build community around the life sciences industry in Utah.
- Through BioHive Cares, we host quarterly volunteer days and community service opportunities for the companies in our network, in partnership with local organizations.
- In 2023 BioHive participating in 6 community service projects including a blood drives, food drives, the collection of school supplies, assembly of STEM kits for schools, attending STEM fairs, serving meals and assembling hygiene kits and participation in the Utah Pride Parade.
